This was part of my experience in BALI. It is about the 'bloody monkey' in Uluwatu, Bali. For those tourist who is going to visit Uluwatu, keep out of the monkeys! They are like HUMAN in the bad way. Uluwatu is very pretty. It is the end most of Bali island.
This is how pretty Uluwatu is; I cannot describe it with words nor with picture; it must be enjoyed with the eyes; it has impossible angles to be captured by camera and too wide of a scenery.
This is the last few second picture of my sister with her full beaded hair. Scenario after this: the monkey appear from the right side and grab her hair; pull it with force until one of the bead is on its hand, move away, eat the bead as if it was peanut; people were laughing; we were scared to death; the bloody monkey was not happy with its first beads and tried to attack ME (I was with beaded hair as well); I managed to knock it down hit a good smack on its stomach and ran down the stairs with my sis all the way down with fear; there are ALOT of monkey in this place.
On the way down, people were still laughing as if we were a show; there are another group of people being attack by the thief monkey. The monkey took their sunglasses. It was really strange because the monkey behave as if they were the best pals of the people around the area who sell bananas for them. The person would offer the tourist to help them get their sunglasses back; but of course it was not free. IDR 20,000.- which is ALOT! They threw the banana to the monkeys and the monkey dropped the sunglasses. Strange but REAL! And the attack happened at the same time! It as if they were working as a group and having mutualism relationship with the people.
Notice in his/her hand; YEAH! It's the stollen sunglasses. He/she is waiting for the BANANAS!
My successful attempt to capture the yawning monkey! Somehow this scene reminds me of KINGKONG movie; the monkey is the Kingkong; the stone is the building.
